Default 2inch Rubicon Express lift and stock 32inch tires

Hey I was wondering if you guys could help me. I just purchased my 07 JK Rubi 2dr a week ago. This is my second Rubi. I had a 03 Rubi with all the works 5 inch lift 35's etc. Lets just say I dumped over 20k into the Jeep. I do not want to make the same mistake as I did before. I never really got the good use out of my prior Rubi. The question I have is I would like to do 2inch rubicon express budget boost or Full traction. But I find a lot of other guys who are doing the budget boost lift but up grading to 33 inch tires. I feel like this would be a wasted of money. I love the 32's BFG on there now. Do you think the Jeep would look awkard with the budget boost and same size tires? Input and pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think the 33's look a bit better with the 2" lifts, but the 32's don't look bad IMHO.

You can check out the recent pics from South Coyote Canyon to see Eddie (wayoflife) in his White Rubi Unlimited with 2.5" of lift and the stock 32's. FYI, he's got 35's on the way....

Here's a pic on flat ground-- but there are plenty of flex pics in the gallery.

I don't think it would look awkward...I remember seeing a pic of someone who did just that and it looked fine...maybe if you also added wheel spacers to the stock wheels to push it out a little so the stance will look more balanced w/ the lift...I have 33s, wheel spacers and no lift on my Sahara and I'm done (for now at least)...

Yes I think it would awkward. Yesterday I put 33's on my 4door and tomorrow a 2" lift goes on. That being said 33's look fine with no lift and I would think that 32's with 2" of lift would look small. I do believe there are pics of someone running 2.5" with 32's on this board.

I just got done browsing through that gallery, i dont think it looks to bad that way, 33's might fill it in a bit better, but you could really twist the thing this way and i dont think you would ever be in any danger whatsoever of rubbing. It would also leave tons of room to fling mud & snow off the treads before it built up enough to cause problems.

I think 32's and 2 inch lift look good, for sure better than stock. Nothing wrong with saving money, especially if you like what you got. Remember, nothing counts more than your opinion when you're talking about your jeep.

You have 35s on a 2 inch lift? No rubbing?
