Thumbs up Glad you posted this question...

I have a 2dr auto as well & one day hope to end up with 35s

It seems that most people who have a 4dr & 35s are having a power issue

Is it really worth it to go 5.13s on a 2dr auto, even with 33s?

I'm running 33 x 12.5 x 15, and I have the stock 3.73 in an auto 2 dr. I would say, if you don't care about driving 80 mph all the time, then don't bother regearing for 33"s. The only changes in performance that I've noticed is that it takes about a second or two longer to get up to speed on the interstate, it's a little slower to stop, and you are close to the shift point between your two topmost gears, so you need to mind your tach and avoid letting the tranny shift out of OD unnecessarily, because it will try to if you hit a hill or something. If you mind your tach, you can still get pretty good gas mileage. I haven't calculated mine yet, but I know on the gauge, it's been fairly close to what I was getting before. Running at 70 mph, I am at about 2k rpm on the tach. Other than watching the tach on the interstate, there is no big difference between these and the stock 29" tires I was running. It's great around town.
Unless you pick some kind of heavy ass tire/wheel combo, I can't see the need in doing it for 33"s. If you want 35"s or 37"s, I would, but I would also be looking at axles if it were me.

That's great info there, I don't care to drive 80 on the interstate

After all it's a brick on wheels, not a musclecar

I've got another vehicle fo that

Default I like 4:88

I have 4:10 now with 305 70 17 supposed to measure 34 but actually measures 33 on 17x9 wheels. According to the chart 4:88 and a 33" tire is good. So measure what size your tire acually is. I've heard the 5:13 is pretty tight at highway speeds.

Tight in a good way for bfg km2 35's?
