Default 295/70R17 Trail Grapplers

Anybody running 295/70R17 Nitto Trail Grappler? If so could you please post some pics. I recently bought a 2012 JKU Sport and unfortunately I got the 3.21 gear ratio. I'm a newb and didn't know better and after reading the forums after my purchase i was disappointed because I was wanting to run 35's. I plan on regearing but not anytime in the near future so i think i can settle with 295/70R17 to save some weight and power loss. Thanks for the help.

With a -12 back spacing my tires stick out past the fenders a good 2 inches. Tread sticks out 1/2", technically illegal in PA.

Forgot to add these tires are heavy duty and have a lot of weight... 3.21's and I wouldn't go any bigger until a regear to lower the stress on your Jeeps components

I almost bought the tires you are wanting. I ended up buying BFG KM2's in 305/70/R17 (new size). I had the 295 TG's and 305 KM2's side by side at the local tire shop in Ft. Wayne. They're almost the same size. The KM2's were less than a 1/2in taller but weighed much less than the Nitto's. I think you'll be fine with the Nitto's with the 12 JK. Mine is an 08 w stock 3:73 and auto.

I have the 295's on my Jeep. On the same rims as Tripp. They are a really heavy tire, but they look good! Will post a pic later.

Tripp, this is the same combo I am about to put on my red rubicon. How much lift do you have?

i really want 35's but i know without a regear I'll end up wearing out some parts alot quicker. Going to start saving for it now. I'm thinking 4.56, any suggestions for 35's with the new 3.6 in the 2012?
