285/75R17 or 315/70R17 ??

Okay, I have 285/70-17's on stock wheels in the Fierce Attitude tire. I bought these to wheel with only here in Missouri (my daily tires are 275/70-18 BFG AT KOs on the 8 spoke chrome wheel.) I've wheeled with them three times now, and I love the tires. But here I am just four months later, getting ready for the Fall wheeling season, and I'm very seriously contemplating going up to 35/12.5-17 in the same tire. Again, I take these on and off when I go wheeling, so the size and noise aren't an issue for me as these aren't my daily driver tires. Just my two cents; if you'll wheel a lot, go bigger! So, here's my question: I have a Teraflex Leveling Kit that says it will handle up to a 305/70-17 tire. If I go with wheel spacers, should I be okay to run 318/72-17 tires (which is the actual p-metric equivalent of 35/12.5-17 - for a great conversion website, google DML Tire and Wheel Calculator). Thanks!

I looked and there isnt a pinch seam in the front I could see, only in the rear. Here is how far I have stuffed my rear tire.
I have to modify my rear bumper and take out the rear inner fender liner. I hit them both and it prevents full stuff!

How? Do you have longer control arms in the back?? Below is a picture of 35's on stock control arms (passenger side in front of the wheel) and you can see how close the tire is to the pinch seam without even flexing it out. My thumb is on the rubi rail and the color is the pinch seam where it should be cut.

Oh dang Karls! Yeah that is close! I do run a Mid-Arm RockKrawler 3.5" x Factor so that could be my difference. I have probably twice to 3x the distance compared to your pic. I will shoot a pic with measurement tomorrow when the sun is up. Youre right in that pic, I would definitely trim it!

Can you take a zoom out of that if thats the front? I didnt see a pinch seam in my front. I bought my JK used so maybe the previous owner trimmed it already. The rear is very noticeable, but not that close at all!

So there's no way to run a 35" without a bigger lift? If I read the above correctly, trimming the pinch seam may be okay for onroad use. Offroad, I'm going to rub even after trimming. Is that correct? And if the tires run closer to 34", will that make a difference? Thanks guys.
Here are my 33"s stuffed up in the back:
