I don't know, all I can say is that out of all the tires I've had on jeeps, the Duratrac's have been the best all around tire for me...
I live in New England and I don't want to have to worry about the weather keeping me from going out on so e 200 mile road trip to go visit my mom or go see a friend who's in town.
The Duratrac's I have now are 285/70/17's and I've toyed with upgrading to 315/75/17's they would be Duratrac's as well

Will most likely need a spacer or carrier bracket, but yes. Although you should look into reinforcing the tail gate carrier to handle the weight

I went with the Goodyear Duratrac 315/70/17. Ater researching they were the best all round tire for trailing, rain and snow that i found. Also, they were the lightest which was very important for my build. I love the tires. They have an aggressive look and are extremely quiet on the road. I can barely hear any hum with the softop and windows open.

I love my duratrac 315/70r17
I was also looking at 285 before and these are slightly larger than stock so why spend 1500$ and not seeing a significant difference ?
with a 4.10 gear ratio 6sp the performance and milleage loss is barely noticable. They look amazing and drive and handling is perfect so why going smaller ? No more question to ask.

Hey man, you came to the right place because I can tell you everybody on here's jeep is their baby. Anyways, all I know is that as soon as you get the tires on your jeep, they'll look smaller than you hoped. Also I've heard that the Toyo MT open country tires have better grip and last longer than the nitto trail graps.

Well I can tell right away when parked next to a stock Rubicon. My tires are a fair bit bigger. Guess depends which tire as your duratrac 35" are less than an inch taller an my Cooper 285s. Coppers are true to size at 33"
