I call BULLSHIT! I'm running those 315/70R17 Goodyear Duratracs (largest 17" size they make) they are 33.8" brand new..... I love the tires performance but I definitely DON'T like how small they are. Mine are about half way worn maybe slightly more and there measuring 32.9" now

I just jumped from 285's to 37x12.5x17
It takes a lot of prep to support 37's vs 35's
That said, 37's are awesome!
I haven't actually driven my JK because I'm waiting for some custom drive shafts...
But just sitting in my driveway they are extremely impressive

I have 285/70/17 (11.2"x32.8" ) duratracs on wheels with 5.2" backspacing and they fit perfect. I know everyone always says you need 4.5" backspace, but AEV wheels are also 5.2". When these wear out I will probably go up to 285/75/17 (11.2"x33.8" ) Toyo AT2 extreme. The extreme versions are more aggressive looking AT tire like the duratracs, but have a 3 ply sidewall.
