I think i needed the spacer because I have a Sahara withe the silver cover on the bumper. It's a very tight fit and the think the bumper takes some wieght off the tailgate.

So the DayStar puck kit should get me the ability to run these no problems?

I would say yes with wheel spacers and remove that ugly air dam if you haven't already.

yes I never thought about the cover on the sahara. mine just fits so even if it were 1/8" thick it would probably not.

If you want a decent spring lift you will be around $1100-1300. I paid just over $1100 for my AEV 2.5" lift with rancho geometry correction drop down brackets and new front links. The only thing I want to add in the future is a front trackbar, but not totally necessary.

You will absolutely want a spring lift if your are adding a warn elite and Zeon. I have a similar setup and I sagged about an inch up front and it was tight with 285/70r17. Being that you live in FL with lots of rain I would get the AT2s and not the MTs. They are my next tire I currently have 285/70r17 Duratracs and with 2.5" lift they look ok but the 285/75r17 look much nicer.

I have TOYO MT in 285/75/17 on stock Rubi wheels and spidertrax. I also have bushwacker flats. 99% of the time Im fine for the light trails I do. However, in the event I actually flex a lot, I do get some rub. Not enough to concern me, for now. 1/2 inch coil spacers Im sure would fix that though.

I guess I need to research the bb lifts or leveling kits before I order the tires. Man, I hate waiting.
