I am running 295's and get 17-19 in town and 20+ on the highway if I keep my right foot under control. Any hills and OD is useless. I will eventually regear to either 4.88's or 5.13's.

Not sure of the difference in size but I'm running 35x12.50 on 17" and around town 14. Driving 40 miles to work all on interstate I get 15 maybe 16

Not 3.73, but I run 3.21 with a 6sp and get 17.9 on highway with my 33s.

I run 285x70/70 KM2 tires with 3.73 on my unlimited and have 17.4mpg shown on the onboard computer. I have not re-calibrated for the larger tire size though.

He probably is fudging it a bit but my stock rubi isn't far from that. I'm on flat ground here at the coast. The hills up where you are will make a big difference.
