I run 265/75r16s on my stock steel rims on my '10 JKU and have never had any rubbing. No spacers or lift here.

Hot day in the summer.....get the corner with a fingernail or a plastic puddy knife and pull the suckers off. Thats how I took mine off. You could probably also use a heat gun or hair drier, but if you do be careful you don't overheat anything.

Hit 'em with a heat gun and they peeled right off. A little WD40 cleaned up the residue.

I'm running 265/75 on the stock steel rims. Had them for about 5 months now and only experienced rubbing once when the suspension was articulating a bit. And I do not have a lift, stock height.
