Default 255/85R16 with no lift?

I may not be able to get a lift on until the Summer, looks like my JK is going to get here in the middle of winter

My wheels/tires will be going on as soon as the jeep gets here, can I expect any rubbing with 255/85R16 Maxxis Bighorns on AEV Bridgers? These are 33.3" tall by 10.3" wide. The bridgers are 4.6" backspacing

I have absolutely NO rubbing with my 35/12.50/15's. I even went offroad yesterday with no rubbing at all I guess because these Wranglers have almost no flex on a stock lift- yea, no lift with a 35/12.50 Dynapro M/T. I am in the same postion I had the tires but no lift and my wheels are 3.75bs. They are crazy big though but on a stock vehical you can't even put 33's on most stock chevys, fords and dodges...lol.

Your post header says 385/55/16, then you talk about 285/55/16 and now you are to 255/75/16, I am lost!

The 3rd time he didn't even say 255/75/16 like you typed. He said 255/85r16 he got the numbers turned around...LOL.

Anyways ZEE
If I have a 35/12.50 with no lift I think you should be just fine with a 255/85 and no lift.

I doubt you will be happy with a thin tire like that. With the rims, you can fit the 285/75 R16 no problem. You won't rub unless you disconnect the front.

Thinner tires are a usually better on snow/ice, weight less, and get metter gas mileage. I won't be rock crawling a heck of a lot, more of a 'winter expedition' vehicle.
