2014 rubicon regear question

Default 2014 rubicon regear question

im going to regear my Rubicon to 4.56 gears it has 3.73 gears now. and was wondering if I had to change the carriers

Your rubicon should have 4.10 gears, and no to just regear it's just your ring and pinion that is replaced

Not accurate. The newer model year Rubicons come standard with 3.73s. 4.10s are an upgrade option.

Your rubicon lockers are fine.

The only people that need to worry about a new open carrier are the non-rubicon folks with a front D30 and 3.21 gears.

My mistake recently trial built one on their site and it's options listed the 4.10 without me selecting anything, guess I was mistaken.

You are both half correct. 4.10 standard on manuals. 3.73 standard on auto.
