If you plan on any further modification to the Jeep DO NOT install a lift with a washer!! 2" lift on the front is nothing really. Any amount of lift with change the "feeling" of the steering to some degree or another. I've installed a 3.5" with no lower control arms and the Jeep drove as good as any other lift I've installed with less lift. Those washers have been well known to be trouble in the long run. I'm getting the sense that you're choosing BDS b/c you're getting someone to install it for you. Save yourself future headaches and troubles by going with a simple and inexpensive lift like the Teraflex, Rancho, Rubicon Express or whatever w/o the washer. Chances are you're going to install a bigger and better lift eventually, like the rest of us, anyway.

Do a search for some older threads addressing troubles with these cam/washer set-ups. They'll change your thinking pretty quickly. And BTW, it's been so long since I've seen anybody even consider this set up I thought those type of lifts were dead and no longer around.
