2014 Jeep Wrangler Jk
Hello guys I'm new here, I wanted to ask if someone could answer my question. I have lifted my jeep 4 in and got 35's size tires, I'm having the problem where the transmission is not strong enough because the gear ratios, if I get 5:13 gears on the jeep do I need to get them for the front and and back?and also do I need to get a supership or just changing the gears will do the job? Thanks

Also, if you have an auto you will need to reprogram for the regear ratio to keep it from going into limp mode.
If you have a 3.8l auto, 5.13 gears sounds right on the money for 35s. 4.56 gears would be better with a 3.8l manual and 35s. And 4.10 gears for the 3.6l seem to be a safe bet but I know less about them because I have a 3.8l. There's gear charts if you google "3.6l jk gear chart"

Welcome!!! For a 3.6 I have 4.56 with 35s and it has plenty of power. You can also get away with 4.10 for your 2014. Superchips is great but you can get away with an AEV procal (which is cheaper) and tweak your shift points per your gear/tire combination.

I knew somebody would chime in! I just didn't expect them to read the title, unlike me. Lol

If you have auto you might be okay with 4.10s. I have 4.10 with manual and 35s. Looking to move to 4.56 soon 4.10 okay on street, but lack the grunt OffRoad.

Yes, you have to do front and rear and will need a programmer. With a 3.6, I wouldn't go over 4:56 with 35. If you plan however, to go 37s later on go 5:13. If u have 4:10 already, If I were you I wouldn't even do a swap for 35's with a 3.6.
