Default 2013 TPMS Compatability

Does anyone know if the wheel sensors from a 2012 are compatible with the 2013 system?

I don't know for certain but I would be extremely surprised if they were not identical.

There was a change in or around 2010 from the gray, metal valves to the rubber stems.

I just asked this question, how do you get them(the rubber ones)out without breaking them?

They definitely have different part #'s and the display shows individual tires actual pressure with the connectivity package. I'm not sure about the ones w/o the package.

There's a small torx head bolt that connects the stem to the sensor

So if you remove the screw it won't break or is there still a chance it will break? Just went to another tire store and they said they will break, or are they just wanting to have me pay for more stuff?

There is a repair kit available for them that may address the problem.

I understand thanks for the input. Can't wait to get these on, found out something else along the way, you can't use the locking lug nuts that come on the wheels from the factory with the xd addicts, the whole is to narrow so gotta buy a spline kit too. I could buy 5 regular lugs from the dealer but they want $6.75/each for them, I can get a whole spline kit for that price.

I just put new wheel on my 2013 and the TPMS sensor the vendor sent with them will not work with my 2013.

I talked to them today and the vendor contacted another maker of TPMS sensors and they apparently have different part numbers for 2012 vs 2013.

I have seen other posts on another forum that says that they use a different frequency for 2013 and I am beginning to think they are right.

I am getting 5 new sensors in the mail so we will see how it works out.

Maybe I shouldn't be extremely surprised....

I've been reading that the 2013 have a multi-channel TPMS that gives info on the individual wheels.

Can anyone confirm this....
