2013 JK steering components loose...?
I was checking out my steering linkage and ends today and there seems to be a lot of movement.
What needs replaced? Thanks.

After watching the video I'd say yep they are fine. That's normal. Of your having up and down movement with the joint inside the knuckle then that can be a different story

No death wobble but the Jeep does seem to shimmy on the highway but not in the steering wheel. And no the joints don't move up and down just the back and forth movement. Just seems like the whole Jeep shakes a little at highway speeds. It also seems to take bumps a lot harder than before and rides rougher. I checked out the ball joints and they seem fine. I am running a 2.5" budget boost on 35" tires. Maybe new shocks?

The tie rod and drag link should rotate on the ball in the joint. That is normal. I can't tell from the video, but it almost looked like the drag link had up and down movement. So, think of is as a ball and cup joint. The ball can move around in the cup, but it should not be able to move in an out of the cup at all. To check the drag link, use a bar of some sort and see if you can move the joint up and down.
If you run large tires and or wheel a lot, the stock drag link ends don't last long. I had 10k miles on my 2013 and it was completely shot.

Go up to the Writeups area. Stuck right to the top is a good Deathwobble/Shimmy diagnosis thread by Planman. Read through it and follow all of the steps.
Is the shimmy speed related? (starts at 58 mph and goes away at 62 mph or something similar)
Which tires/what is the load rate. What psi are you running?
And just for the heck of it, do you know the Caster and Toe specs?
