Default 2013 JK header question? waste of money??

I was thinking of upgrading my headers to match up with my catback exhaust but was told by my mufflerman that it would be a waste of money?

I did look underneath and saw that the headers do appear to be 1.5 inch the same a any aftermarket.

Would you agree with this info and if not what did you upgrade to?

All feedback welcome...
Thanks

On the 3.6 the exhuast manifold is built into the block. The exhuast starts at the cats coming off the block, so cat back is the only full exhaust option until high flow cats come out.

Unless you're doing it for the sound, look or to remove that huge muffler, I wouldn't waste your $$$.

No header to change. You might be able to open it up a bit, kind of like porting a head.
