I have a 2012. Going to 35's and planning on doing 4.56 gears. I have been told to find the gear that matches your current rpm's and go one lower. In my case 4.10's would put it closest to stock with 35's but with the extra rotating mass the lower gear will help. I just hope it doesnt kill my mpg's too bad.

Thanks for the info.
I have a 2012 rubi auto with 4:10s on 37s. I live in new york going to florida in a week. I am hoping to get 15mpg. I will post when i get there. I want to regear this summer i was thinking 4:56 or 4:88s I would love to do 5:13 but there is no where to wheel in the northeast so i need to travel. I found a shop locally to install with material for 1,100.

I am currently running 4.56 with 35" on my 2012 manual.. I am getting average 17-17.5 mpg, I have plenty of power. I can maintain 65 mph going up hill without downshifting.. I love it!! I had 3.21 stock, and I was downshifting all the time keep 60 going uphill.. I just broke 5k on the odometer, 2.5k since it was geared..

Im glad you are happy with your setup. I also have a manual. I just havent scene anyone on here thats done 4.56's with 35's on a 2012. Thanks your your insight. Makes my decision easier. Im still in a debate about lockers. Im thinking of a e-locker ib the back and a truetrac up front since its still a D30. Any thoughts?

4.56s are tough to get (or at least they were when I re-geared), but probably the best for 35-37 size range. I have 4.88s with 35s and looking to go to 37s. I may keep my ATs as winter tires and get a set of 37 KM2s for summer. Mileage is crap getting like 12-13 around town on a loaded down JKU. I'm not driving too many miles so it's not a big concern, but man...12-13. That bites it.

So looking at the chart, I should have similar results with my 37's and 4.88 gearing on my manual! Good! I am still hoping to find some other folks that can state their experience with 4.88 vs 5.13 on the manual '12 with 37's.

Default Happy with 4:88s

Running 4:88s on 37 Toyos... actual 18.25" loaded radius. These gave me +300 rpm at 70mph over the stock 3.73s and 32s. For all around driving and wheeling, I am very pleased with the result. With the new trans and engine, the Jeep takes off plenty fast, pulls grades acceptably and with the auto, is low enough offroad to do what I need. The gear tire combo is a good middle ground.

Too early to tell where it will end up, but right now I am seeing 14 mixed and eek out 17 on the highway. Mostly 4k to 6k above seal level and 88 octane. Above 65 mph it drops off quickly.

I'm running superior gears, they were hard to find, but once ordered, they took 2 weeks to get them.. Definitely, pick your lockers now. You'll prob have to replace the carriers anyways depending on what your stock gearing is.. This way you save a couple bucks..

Would 5.13 w/35" mounted tires be ok?
