Default 2012 Rubicon - No Factory Rake

I was thinking of an AEV 2" kit for my new 2012 Rubcon JKU but i am afraid it will overcorrect the almost non-existent factory rake. The Jeep measures out within 1/4" front to back on level ground. The AEV kit gives 2" up front but the rear spacer is only 1 5/8" and the factory isolator is removed to probably only net 1" (like a level kit).

Does anyone have measurements of the TeraFlex spacer kit? I want to know if both spacers measure 2.5" or if there is a difference front to back.

I just used the Terraflex kit on my 2012 Rubicon Unlimited but the kit was 2 1/2" spacers rear and 2" front. I also was nearly level and am now PERFECTLY level. Go ahead and put it on and if for some strange reason it is a little bow high you have two choices. Buy a bumper and winch or get some Daystar spacers for the rear. Daystar makes them is small increments.

Give your jeep some time, the springs will settle some and you'll be glad for the rake removal of the kit...

i understand that you guys are estatic while buying your new 2012's, I want one as well, but, since there isnt any programmers availble to reset you computer, i think it would be a waste to get into a new jeep without modifying it. Im waiting for them to catch up so i can re-gear and lift it before I drive it off the lot.

I'm happy for you guys with your new purchase and wish you good times.

Worried about programmers, they didnteven make a lift for the jk when I bought my 07!

The 2.5 teraflex spacer lift I have is 2.5" front and back. I have an extra set of spacers I have been thinking of selling...

The new Rubicons don't need regeared for 35 inch tires if you order the auto trans and 4.10 gears. The new final drive ratio is a bunch lower than with the old trans. I turn 2,500 rpms at 70 mph with 35 inch KM2s and a corrected speedo. Everything works absolutely perfect and lots of power. If you must regear an X or Sahara there may be an issue, I really don't know about those models.

I thought my Terraflex kit was 2.5 front and back too, then I measured the spacers and the rear was indeed a half inch shorter. I was a bit surprised but the end result was perfect.

I managed to find the Tera Flex install instructions and in the parts list it does indicate that the rear spacer is 2" and the front is 2.5". You can buy individual sets of spacers right from Teraflex. I think I might go with the 2.5" kit and buy a 2" spacer set (like found in the level kit) for the front. If I ever add a bumper/winch I will have the 2.5" if needed.

Planning on going with the 295/70R17 Toyo Tires. Just didn't want as much lift and tires on this Jeep as my 07.
