Default 2012 JKU Must Have Skids and Armor

I'm looking into some under carriage protection and like everything else, there is an arseload of options. I've heard the stock skids handle pretty well, but what other protection is a must have but won't break the bank? Recommendations?

Thanks!

like all JK's, the 2012's don't come with an oil pan skid and i would get one of those. if you have an automatic, there is a transmission line that is very exposed and of course, the sump pan itself is exposed as well. needless to say, i would recommend that you protect them as well. evo mfg makes a great system to take care of them and that's what i would recommend. everything else is fine with the factory skids and i wouldn't waste your money replacing them. trust me, i've been beating mine up for over 5 years now and they still do the job just fine.

Thanks for the help. I should've stated this in the original post, but its a manual 6sp. I assume this still holds true for the manuals?
