Default 2012 JKU Auto 3.21 gears and 35s

how many people are running this setup? I'm planning on doing a 2.5-3.5" lift then adding 35s. I know regearing is ideal but I have to do mods in steps. the jku is my daily driver.

looking for some opinions from those who have experience with this setup.

I'm running the same set up with a manual. It takes a little to get it started but after that its whatever. It's too fast in 4lo, other than that its live able with a manual.

I'm running in a 2012 with a 3.5 AEV lift and 35 inch trail grapplers with 3.21 gears. There is definitely a noticeable power change but it isn't as bad as my 09 stock was so I am not planning on regearing yet. I'm going to put that money instead into bumpers and some rock rails. They are more important than regearing. IMO

Yup, same setup here..... No issues.... But I do have an auto.

I will not re-gear unless I go bigger than 37's

I've been running this setup in my 2012 auto for almost the past year. I used the AEV ProCal to calibrate for the larger tire and I think it runs like stock. I've never been at a loss for power.
Going up a steep grade, it Will occasionally be searching for the next gear in the higher rpms, but nothing major.

would that ProCal help in any way on my manual ? My clutch is a PITA in traffic.. I find that my friction point is way to far and I have to slip the clutch. Forget a second gear start, it's stalls...

What about that little gizmo you connect to the behind gas pedal(don't remember the name of that gadget). Suppose to help throttle response.. Any opinion on that out there ??
