2012 JK Aussie Locker
Anyone running an Aussie locker in 2012 jk? I'd love to hear your review of the product. Thinking about putting one in my JK next week.

I have one in my 11 jku. It works great, but the clicking and binding in tight corners ( turning into parking spaces) is annoying. I've only had it in for 1000 miles so far. Im curious of how it's going to be on snowy roads. I hear they are nightmares. However, I don't think snows an issue in Florida.

Had one in my 2007 2-door front axle. I learned to live with the clicking.
it made a WORLD of difference offroad. The Jeep scrambled up loose dirt hills with ease.
In the winter, I never had a problem, but I also never drove on ice. In the snow, it just helped pull the Jeep through whatever I had pointed it at.
This was my daily driver, so every day trips to and from work were fine.
Definitely recommend.

I am planning on putting this in my front Dana 30. It is my understanding that the clicking is only present when you're in 4 wheel drive? Is this incorrect?

Have had one in the Dana 30 of my XJ for a few years now. If you can deal with the clicking, and non-selectable nature, it's a great product and I would highly recommend it.
For me, this time I'm going ARB.
Picture of the XJ for fun

I just ordered the Aussie from Northridge. Hopefully it will be here this week so I can have it in by the weekend!

I had an Aussie Locker in my front Dana 30 on a two door 2008 JK with 35's. Off-road putting it in 4wd was awesome in hi or low. As a daily driver in 2wd I did not notice the locker at all unless I was going around a very sharp turn in which case I heard some minor clicking sounds.
In the winter time if in 4wd I would experience some understeer, but I rarely used the 4wd in the winter and if I did it was not at high speeds.
I drove my jeep from Shreveport LA to the ORV park in Hot Springs AR numerous times and while in 2wd it was never an issue. Loved the Aussie Locker up front and plan to put one in my 2015 JK Unlimited Willy's as soon as I can
