2007 wrangler rear main seal leak
I have a 2007 jk and recently noticed a rear main seal leak.
I bought the jeep about 3 years ago and within 3 months because of a blown clutch I had to replaced the clutch, throw out bearing, rear main seal ect. (I did this with a couple buddies) all was good until now..
I brought my jeep by "just jeeps" and they said only the dealer can do the rear main seal because there is a tool only the dealership has to properly set the new rms gasket. He also said because of not using this tool people tend to notice the rear main seal leaking again 20-40000km. Is this true???? Is there a rms tool specifically for 07 jk's??
When I did my rear main a couple years ago I do not recall using any type of gasket setter or alignment tool.
