You will either need to purchase one of those $3-5k kits. There's a couple guys that have done it themselves, search for "my hemi swap". That guy did it for $6500.

If you want a baja/prerunner style jeep, coilover suspension is the way to go.
Offroad Evolution double throw down coilover conversion is the suspension you need.
Also, most baja rigs run on 37"-39" tires.

Hey Chris,
is there any way to run the front bumps for the double throw down on a non coil over suspension?
The reason I ask is because I plan on going with the double throw down as soon as I can afford but I need bump stops now. I don't want to have to buy 2 different sets of bump cans if I can run the bump cans for the coil over system.

If you go with the new bolt-on coil overs can you add bump stops and bypasses to get to the DTD performance level?
Thank you!

It makes sense to me. I don't want cheap poly bumps and I need bumps now. Rather than buying 2 bump kits for the front I was wondering if I could get the bump kit used with the double throw down instead of spending money twice.

Is this build a looker or a do'r?
If a do'r then you are going to need remote reservoir coil overs front and rear plus a lot of clearance to account for real flex during higher speed escapades.
Sounds like a FUN project!

Well if you dont have quite the budget for the double throw down you could also go with Teraflex Pre-Runner kit which is a 3 or 4 inch lift and comes with limit straps and the whole nine yards. Some bushwacker pocket flaires would give you that pre-runner fiberglass look and then look into some tube bumpers front and rear. Just my two cents.
