Default 2 WD in Mud

For those of you thinking about doing the ESP toggle mod and haven't done it yet probably should if you like to play in the mud. I played in the mud before but only in 4 Hi with esp off. When I did the toggle mod, found that I could throw some serious roosters with the esp off. Yesterday forgot to switch it off, hit a mudhole and it just slowly bogged to a stop in 2 WD Luckily it wasn't to deep, hit the toggle and it felt like hittin a NOS switch Spun my way out in 2WD. Question- How has your wheelin been in 2WD, And how in the heck would a 2WD jk go muddin without a esp mod, if so what mod?( yeah, I already thought about a winch)

Default Little Slow Here...

OK I KEEP READING ABOUT THE TOGGLE DEAL FOR THE ESP OFF, BUT NO ONE HAS SAID EXACTLY WAHT IT DOES ( I KNOW ITS THE LSD ) WHY WOULD YOU PUT A TOGGLE SWITCH AND NOT JUST USE THE NORMAL OEM SWITCH , READ THE MANUAL AND IT DOESNT REALLY SAY MUCH. JUST REALLY CONFUSED AND COULD USE SOME CLARIFICATION!

^^^Same here...I've turned mine off (with the OEM dash switch) before when playing in the mud and it sounds like its the same thing (tires spin free as if it had no ESP/Traction Control in the first place).

As I understand it from reading the manual and threads here the regular dash button just reduces it by half in 2WD and 4WD HIGH. The toggle switch mod turns it off completely.

I put the toggle in cause I like to get on the interstate faster than 10 MPH. Yeah I think the dash switch kicks off the TC in 2WD, but it still leaves the stability and ABS on. Oh I think I just answered my own question! Duh, got so used to just using the toggle for offroad.
