So this is what I did today. I trimmed the pinch seams and took off an inch of the rock rails. I made a command decision last night to go with after market fender flares. So I went to 4W parts and ordered the Smittybilt XRC flares and I should have them on Tuesday. From the looks of it I don't think I will have any rubbing issues. I will post some pics when I get it done. Thank you everybody for your advice.

the pinch seam on the 12's were cut also.

My 12's are not trimmed. I have seen 13's that are not also.

This is correct. It started late in the 2013 model year. My 2013 was not trimmed from the factory.

Mine has a may 2013 build date, I bought it in August and it has the trimmed or flat pinch seem
