I had 14/55 springs on mine and swapped in some 18/59 springs and shocks from a Unlimited Rubi. It have me about 1.75 inches of lift, which is perfect for my 33's. No need for extra lift until you get 35's.

I just went outside and did measurements. Looks like my 13/14 springs have sagged about 1/2 inch according to factory spec the shocks should be at 18.5 inches on a level surface.

I think I will use the rubi shocks, keep my 13/14 springs and install the 2.5 inch budget boost.

I guess I should save the springs for later.

Steel bumpers front and rear, plus rock sliders.

Once i moved to a Rock Krawler X-Factor, the ride was a LOT smoother.

You can pair with a nice set of shock....say Rancho 9000's maybe. I have set up with 18/59's, Rubi shocks and TF leveling kit. Yes the ride is rough, but I like it due to less sag now when loading up for a trip. Going from sport shocks to rubi helped. I can only imagine the difference going up in a better shock. I will keep my set up and either go 7000's or 9000's that are for at least a 2" lift.

The BB should not change your ride.

In theory, the ride doesn't change but in practice it does. You're squeezing the coil plus a solid spacer in the same space as where just the coil used to live. It compresses the coil a little bit and in comparison to a full coil kit- the budget boost wastes that 2" of space and doesn't allow for a smooth ride because that 2" doesn't compress and extend with the rest of the coil.

I've been through many sets of stock coils from high to low and they all sag pretty quickly IMO. I've also had the TF 2.5" bb and took it off after a month. Years later I tried the TF 1.5" full coil level kit without any real satisfaction. It didn't work better than factory coils and actually sat lower than a stock 4dr Rubi...again- in my experience.

I've since swapped out to a full 2.5" coil and it's better, no sag yet and I'm pairing it with decent shocks to compliment the coil.

Thank you everyone who has contributed it really help me make up my mind.

I decided to go with a 2.5 inch terra flex coil lift with bilstein 5100s to go with my rubicon take offs.
