Default 2.5 TF Budget Boost Questions

I am looking to get one of the Teraflex budget boost setups, but there are so many I am confused:

2.5 BB w/o Shocks
2.5 BB w Shock Adapters
2.5 BB w Shocks

I am not sure what I will need as I basically want to have a better looking stance and this being my DD I'd like to keep the stock ride as much as possible and throwing some larger tires... Also I will be putting this over 4.75 BS Pintlers which I have read you will need to run wheel spacers with this kit.. .

Then there are the 3 lift kits that seem to have coils...

Can anyone help me?

Three types of budget boosts are a bit confusing at first but just keep in mind that all three kits pretty much do the same thing. They raise your Jeep 2.5 inches.

They all include 2.5 inch spacers that fit between the top of your coil springs and the Jeep (basically increasing the overall height from the bottom of the coil spring to the Jeep by 2.5 inches.) and they all include the same brackets, hardware, and bump stops that you need.

The difference in the three kits are in how you deal with the new length your shocks must be now that your Jeep is 2.5 inches taller:

2.5 BB w/o Shocks - This kit does not include shocks. You must buy the appropriate length shocks (from what ever company you choose).

2.5 BB w Shock Adapters - This kit basically makes the shocks you already have work with the increased lift by including adapters / extensions that make up the difference in length needed.

And
2.5 BB w Shocks - This kit includes the appropriate length shocks provided by Teraflex.

Hope this helps.

...oh and kits with coils are not considered budget boosts because you're paying for the coils. And are considered full blown lift kits.

As far as ride quality goes: there isn't supposed to be any difference. Some will say the difference is that extensions will somehow limit your off roading capabilities. I don't know how true that is.

I went with the no shocks kits because I wanted the Bilstien 5100 shocks. My shocks had over 70k miles on them. And I just went with the Bilstien over the Teraflex because of personal preference.

Spacers are probably a good idea if you're gonna keep your stock tires and rims. They push out your tires and really look a lot better; more like personal preference, I guess. But you'll definitely need them if you're going to run bigger tires on your stock wheels to avoid rubbing. I'm glad I got them as I think my jeep would look funnier without them.

Oops, never mind the spacers I just remembered you mentioned you're going to be adding the Pintlers. Awesome wheels. I hope to get some down the road. For now I just plan on getting some new meats on my stock wheels.

I have the shock extentions with 2.5" coil and have a stock ride quality. I have not bought bigger tires yet.

yeah what he said. TeraFlex is just giving the buy options that some companies don't offer. Many times when you buy a lift kit your stuck with what ever shocks they choose for you and then if you don't like their choice then you have to go out and buy the ones you like and you have an extra set of shock laying around.
