looks like the teraflex kit i was looking at includes more than just springs and shocks.

http://www.quadratec.com/products/16190_2500_07.htm

what are those other pieces in the pic? I am new to this. And will i need a trackbar?

I guess i COULD run my stock shocks. Really dont like the idea of shock extenders or whatever though

Factory shocks suck compared to aftermarket upgrades. I did the TF coils with Bilstein 5100s and it's awesome!

If you go with a 2.5 lift, things like a track bar relocation bracket are critical to proper driveline geometry. RC is a good lift as well, just get shocks and make sure you get a Tb relo bracket and upgraded front end links. It makes a difference.

I have the 2.5 rough country and have been disappointed my springs sagged after 6 months, luckily their customer service is good and I'm now in the process of installing replacement springs but I'm gonna try and save for a different lift now

Teraflex with Bilsteins. love the set up. I would do it again. I went with the rear trackbar axle kit. 2.5 w/o extenders or shocks. I am not a fan of RC products. They typically sag after a while, My TF have settled about 1/2 inch overall from the day I installed them. I think it rides very plush.

x2 on not liking extenders.

I also have the Teraflex and have had it since the jeep was new, 10,000ish miles it has 46K on it now.
No complaints.

Yes it would cause once you change the coils it is all the same suspension! Rubicon hit gives u 44 lockers and e-sway bar! You would be fine!

Does the kit on the link I posted above include the track bar bracket and everything I need? What would I need to buy separate?

I run shock extensions for now but if u want new shocks the more expensive the better pretty much! And no it does not have adj trackbar I would suggest it just can't do it right now! And that's about it! And an alignment then yourset!

I went with a 3" Teraflex, billstein shocks, and 35s. I have yet to be disappointed. The biggest thing I'm impressed with are the tires
that I chose. Open Country Toyo M/Ts. Everyone on the trail has been impressed with them when we go out. I took it up a black diamond trail here in SOCAL and was amazed at what I could do. Like you, I said I wanted to do it mainly for the looks. Luckily, a buddy of mine made me feel bad enough for owning a jeep and not wheeling that he convinced me to take it out. We started small and now I'm an addict.
