looks like the teraflex kit i was looking at includes more than just springs and shocks.

what are those other pieces in the pic? I am new to this. And will i need a trackbar?
I guess i COULD run my stock shocks. Really dont like the idea of shock extenders or whatever though

If you go with a 2.5 lift, things like a track bar relocation bracket are critical to proper driveline geometry. RC is a good lift as well, just get shocks and make sure you get a Tb relo bracket and upgraded front end links. It makes a difference.

I have the 2.5 rough country and have been disappointed my springs sagged after 6 months, luckily their customer service is good and I'm now in the process of installing replacement springs but I'm gonna try and save for a different lift now

Teraflex with Bilsteins. love the set up. I would do it again. I went with the rear trackbar axle kit. 2.5 w/o extenders or shocks. I am not a fan of RC products. They typically sag after a while, My TF have settled about 1/2 inch overall from the day I installed them. I think it rides very plush.
x2 on not liking extenders.

I went with a 3" Teraflex, billstein shocks, and 35s. I have yet to be disappointed. The biggest thing I'm impressed with are the tires
that I chose. Open Country Toyo M/Ts. Everyone on the trail has been impressed with them when we go out. I took it up a black diamond trail here in SOCAL and was amazed at what I could do. Like you, I said I wanted to do it mainly for the looks. Luckily, a buddy of mine made me feel bad enough for owning a jeep and not wheeling that he convinced me to take it out. We started small and now I'm an addict.
