Default 2.5 in lift on JKUR

I have a lift question for you all. I have a JKUR and want to get a 2.5 in lift. Probably something on the less expensive side like rough country. My question is will I notice much of a difference from the stock Rubicon set up or am I wasting money?

You're going to get a good bit of negativity on Rough Country. Are you going to be adding alot of weight? Bumpers, winch, skids? If not I'd recommend a coil spacer lift. That's what I'm running now and it's been good for me until I started adding weight. I did have very soft springs though to begin with. Good luck with the build!

But as far as ride concerns it's all subjective. A good set of shocks will be the biggest deciding factor in ride. I have heard the rubicon suspension is pretty stiff but I have no experience

Save your pennies or buy a better spring and shock combo with control arm brackets bro.

Really that seems like a better fit. Do a cheap lift and you'll do the same thing I did, replace everything. Springs, shocks, steering, control arms, track bars, you get the point. I went too high to start and cheap brand, I regretted it until it was all gone.

Get with some of the local vendors here, they'll help you out all they can.
