once again...
before you stuff 35s under your jeep without a lift.. take into consideration of what YOU are going to be doing with the jeep... not what everyone else does with theirs.
Yes.. they can fit and more than likely work fine on the street. now.. if youre going to take it off road id strongly suggest a lift... a small 2.5. If you disconnect sometimes that isnt even enough. i have 33s because i didnt want to regear and i still rub sometimes at full flex. if you plan on adding heavy bumpers or other accessories youre going to sag even more and have more rubbing issues. At least do yourself a favor and speand an extra 100 bucks and get a body lift and it will take the edge off a bit.

The stock rock rails will touch at full flex but there's no risk of cutting the tire because there's no way for the pinch seam to do that with the rails in place. However, I'm planning on cutting the rails back a bit, along with the pinch seam so that it doesn't touch at all and so it looks better. Also, the corner of the plastic air dam will get rubbed at full turn but I've already trimmed that up. Extremely minor stuff.

I have the 2.5 teraflex coil lift (2 door) which gave me right at 3.75 lift in the front and I will be going to 35's when the 33's are gone. I am thinking about making my front bumper a stubby by cuting and puting the end caps on from the kit ( I think it is rugged ridge but not sure) that has the caps that look like the factory bumper ends. Does anyone have this setup and if so do you have any rubbing with full flex or on road driving with the 35's and stubbied bumper?

I'd say you got your answer....a resounding yes. I'm running a 2.5" RC BB, with 315/75R16 GY Duras on 16x8 Black Rocks w/ 5.25" b.s. Ended up chopping the stock flares because I was rubbing at extreme flex (stock bump-stops). Now no rubbing at all.

I know this is a year old thread, but are any of you still sold on 35's with a 2.5 inch lift? My lift and wheels are literally sitting next to me I'm just stuck on the tire size.
