Default 2.5 coil lift question

OK, I've had my 2.5" TF coil lift for while now. It came with shock extensions, they worked fine. I recently purchased Elka Suspension (I'm a dealer) to try on my jeep since we sell them for ATVs. They are valved according to TF's specs for jeeps with lifts from 2.5" - 4". The rear shocks are almost compressed completely when just driving around and I'm bottoming out often on small bumps. My front shocks have several inches of travel before they bottom out.

My question is this. Are the coils on the 2.5" TF coil spring lift the same front and rear? If not I think I may have installed the springs backwards, meaning the fronts on the rear and rears on the front. If that's even possible. If its not possible then I have them installed correctly and I guess my rear springs are sagged out to much. Then I may replace the springs for a longer one or put in a spring spacer. What other option is there for me? I want to keep the shocks of course so I need more lift to create more travel in my shock. Is there an air bag type system I can use on the jeep in the rear? I do tow a 12' enclosed trailer a fair bit and hauls ATVs so that may have sagged my springs.

Thanks for the help!

The front and rear springs would be hard to accidentally swap. Fronts are longer, rears are fatter. Don't think they would fit the spring seats.

JKs come with some front rake so kits usually lift the front enough extra to level things out.

But mostly it sounds like the shocks are kinda long for your lift unless you have a real light ragtop and got way more than 2.5" from the lift.

Spacers or longer springs could be used, but with more than 2.5" - 3" of lift there can be drive shaft, trackbar length, and steering castor problems to solve.

My rear springs are sagged out and they are for a 2.5" lift. So if I got new 3" rear springs and they sag again I should be around 2.5" and I will get some more travel out of my shocks. If that doesn't work I'll talk with Teraflex and Elka because that would mean they are building their rear shocks to long for people with a 2.5" lift. Terafelx gave Elka the specs to build the shocks. They may need to make two versions stock - 2.5" lift and 3" lift and up. Right now they say they are made for a 2.5 - 4 inch lift. If I'm sagged out then the shocks will not work correctly.

I have the same exact prob with the same lift. Talked to teraflex and they said to get the 3" springs for the rear.

Bilstein makes a 5100 rear shock for 2" lifts, and another for 4" lifts. The 2" model works right with my 2.5" lift.

2.5" - 4" is pretty long for the rear without some tall rear springs. You almost hafta go back to having some rake.

Another thing to watch is whether the shock is long enough to let the spring(s) pop out at maximum droop.
