Default 2.5 bb lift with no shock extensions

Just wondering is it required to have shock extensions when running a 2.5 bb lift? I have stock rubi shocks with my bb lift on. Will anything get messed up when sway bar disconnected up front?

A 2.5" lift with stock shocks means the shocks will always be extended. Disconnecting seems kinda pointless...

yes, Your shocks will be completely extended at regular height, or close to it. Your shocks would be topping out every bump. So you'll have a shitty ride and probably ruin the shocks. Disconnecting would be pointless as the shock would be restricting the down travel.
