Default 2.5" BB with 265s....will tires look too small?

Want to put a 2.5" BB on due to how inexpensive they are (250 installed at local tire shop) but i have a fresh set of Cooper 265 A/Ts on the jeep. Will the tires look too small with the added 2.5"s? anybody running that setup pics appreciated. Thanks

I don't have just what you're saying but I'd say yes. I have a 2" lift with stock Rubicon 255/75/17 mud terrains which are 32" OD. 265/70/17's are only 31.7" OD. I'm satisfied to let mine go as is, but they're really look too small.

But if you're satisfied with my look, your probably won't look much different.

Just being honest, yes they will. I've got 315/70/17's and at times they even look small. I've got a 2.5 inch TF lift. Regardless, do it, you can always buy bigger tires!

If you Google "jk 2.5 lift stock tires", I think you'll get more than enough feedback to make an informed decision. The choice is easy while gas is cheap. When gas goes up then it's tougher to justify burning up mud tires to 'look' cool.

When I had 2.5" lift I had 285's and thought they looked too small.

Why would you lift the jeep if you are running stock tires?

Rather, do the 2.5 but go 35's, regear and be done with it.
