Default 2.5 AEV lift

im order this lift today and will be running my stock tires and wheels for now till i can save for something better. question is should i get spacers for a wider stance or will i be ok with not getting them?

I'd never waste the money on spacers. It just adds a weak link. Run what you have till you can get some wheels with the backspacing you need.

Most people only use spacers for clearance issues with larger tires. I would think you don't need them unless you just want your tires to come out more.

I'm running spacers with the AEV 2.5" (correction brackets) and 275/70R18 on stock wheels -

No spacers needed, and would probably look goofy with them. I ran that lift with stock wheels and tires for about a month.
Here's what it looks like with stock Rubi wheels and tires. It's a crappy pic, but it's the only one I have before I put the 35's on.

2.5 DS XT with stock Rubi tires and 1.5" wheel spacers. I like the look of a wheel well that has some space around the tire.

The spacers were added to keep the center of gravity more or less the same with the added height: 2.5" taller, 3" wider. Handles and rides great!

AFAIK nobody ever had a problem with Spidertrax spacers that were installed correctly.
