Default 16x10 wheels

Is there any reason why I couldn't put 16x10" wheels on my 2014 Jku?
also what backspacing would I need?

You can put wide wheels on the jk and folks will ridicule you for going against the grain. I had 15x10 wheels on mine and the only backspace available was 3.5". The tires you put on those wheels will measure up shorter than you'd expect due to the tread pattern laying nice and flat on the road.

I'm ok with ridicule, I'm going for a certain look. Thanks for the reply

This is how mine looked with 31's, 33's would have been a better choice.
