Default 16s or 17s w/ 35s and 3"FT lift?

I am looking at some Pro Comp wheels, but can't decide whether I should run 16s or 17s. I know I have seen some threads on this but can't seem to find them. What are the pros and cons? I am going to be running a mid-Shockworks front bumper with sliders. Which has the better look, function? Thanks.

My opinion, the 17's look better, and on 35's you have plenty of rubber with either the 16 or 17. The 16's will save you a pretty big chunk of money on a tire/wheel setup though. All in what you prefer. I went with a 17" myself.

There seems to be a lot more tires available for 16" wheels. So you have more options tire-wise.

If money is tight go with 15s. Don't let the shop tell you 15s won't work, 07 base models came with 15s.

I think they only came with 16's. Only certain 15's work. Others need modification or won't work at all.

It's all a personal thing. Do you like to see alot of rim and i little rubber? or allota rubber and a little rim ? Im old school, I like the small , deep rim look w/ lotsa rubber around um. Be carefull if you go w/15'' some fit, most don't. I went w/16'' fit perfect. And they look like the ones you like.

I am gong for that black out look with the rims, so the 16s may do the trick. I have the stock Rubi rims (17s) on now, so it will definitely be a different look. Thanks for the responses

the stock 17s are great alloy wheels and have much better quality than a lot of the aftermarket wheels.17 inch wheels will ride more stable than 16s....but since I am in a country where there are NO 17 inch mud tires available, I have to put a set of aftermarket 16 inch wheels in my wish list

Why do you think that our OEM "made in China" wheels are "much better quality" than a lot of the others? And, what country do you live in that doesn't have 17" mud tires? It says you're in California. There are quite a few 17's available in the US, although they are more expensive. Just curious...
