The only newer-style frameless blade I've found for the Jeep Wrangler JK is the 'Trico NeoForm Beam Blade'. They come in the rare 14" (as well as 16" if you want to risk the bigger size). They work great and are super quiet. Easy install. Got them online.

There is ZERO risk with the 16". Been running them on my 07 since, well.... 07. As posted prior, the beams are great winter blades. I do find they tend to "skip" over gunk on the windshield a little more than the traditonal style. Cure for that? Keep the windshield clean.

Default Rear Wiper

Can you replace the whole rear wiper, or do you have to just insert a new blade? I was looking at it the other day and I didn't see a way to detach it.

I got a good deal on Bosch blades nothing special but they do a good job and look stock.

On a side note I took the stock one's of my JK and put them on my 1977 F100.

BTW, I just got an email from wipers123.com and Trico has a $15 rebate on NeoForms through May 15th 2010. They also sent me an additional $5 instant coupon "springreturningcustomer" (orders over $30) - not sure when it expires... Godspeed
