Default 15x8 vs. 15x10 wheels w/ 35/12.5/15 rubber

Question here is, what is the asthetic differences? Larger/smaller footprint? What about actual utility differences? I feel like w/ a 15x8 I should be able to air down more and get a bit more flexibility out of the sidewalls of a 12.5-width tire.
Any info or pics showing the two would be great.

Trying to decide if I want to mount 35/12.5/15 KM2's on a 8in. or 10in. wide rim.

15x10s look cool but are useless when tyres are aired down.

Same make and tire size, and I've had a tire shop, and a 4x4 shop both tell me I should go with the 10" rims, but I'm sure I've read numerous times in the past that a narrower rim is the better option.

Anyone else have any feedback?
narrower will be harder to pop a bead when aired down. it is seating the bead better.

My preference would be 8" wide.

What type of rim do you have? I've been thinking about ditching my stock 16" steelies and going 15" when its time to upgrade.
