15" tires, yay or nay?
I am going to be installing my RK 2.5" Stock mod with bilsteins in another week or two and next up is the tires/wheels.
Currently on the stock 17s that come with the 2011 JKU sport.
I want to go to 35s, i think i am going to go with a set of KM2s on procomp 7069s.
BUT, i noticed 15s will save me $600 between everything... Is there a reason not to get them? I also like the look of meaty sidewalls.
Kind of dumb that a tire with more rubber cost less than one with less rubber...

I have pro comp 1069 wheels, which only weigh 15 lbs each along with goodyear mtr kevlars (35x12.5 r15). I absolutely love them and did not have any problem with the calipers rubbing.
I picked this set-up because I saved money, as you were alluding to, and it is not too much extra weight (72 lbs oem rubi wheel and tire vs 82 for my set-up), plus, I did not need wheel spacers due to the wheel backspacing.
hope it helps!

I am on the same route as you are. I am looking for the black alloy 15" wheels to mount 35/12.5" BFG tires after I install TF 2.5" lift kit.
Here are couple of good links and readings:
