How are you all running 15s on the JK. I thought that they required a 16 to clear the calipers. I want to hear from those of you that have them. Did you grind calipers and what rims are you running. I have an 07 Jk want to get 15s like the look and price better.

All depends on the rim, some will rub, some not. Your best bet is to test fit one if possible or ensure they can be returned if they don't fit.

i was running 15 in pro comps with no problems no rubbing no nothing ran great...sold em though for some 17's and 31' pro comps

15x8 American racing Mojave teflon with 3.75 backspacing.
No problems here.
I also heard that it depends on the manufacurer and wheel, even people with the same wheel and different JK's, one would rub and the other wouldnt...

07 2dr JK X - 15" x 8" Procomp 8179 with 3.75 BS 5x5 bolt pattern powder coated ($100 ea. at Discount Tire) No rubbing , no modifications to the rotors, no problems.

I have 15x10 U.S. Wheel Black Daytona Steel Wheels with 3.75" backspacing. There was no grinding required, but it is close.

Im running the summit racing brand black center wheels on my 07 unlimited x model.3.37 backspace,no rubbing,no grinding.

A slight threadjack, nice jeep btw, but with Teflon, does it scratch off and expose the natural aluminum finish in this case or is it chemically bonded like powder coat so when it scratches, it just reveals the same color?
