No regrets for me either, running 33x12.50x15 on MB72s....not much wiggle room around the calipers, but I have had zero problems and saved myself a ton of cash on tires...I also sold my stock 17's making it even better deal for me...and then later was given a set of 18's off a Sahara (free!) considering just running some street tread on those for my daily commute and then just swapping out to my 15s for weekend wheeling since they are AT's

And as already said, you will only need spacers on OEM rims to give you the correct back spacing with bigger rubber.
Discount Tire had the rims with correct back spacing, so no need for pucks!
