Default 15" MT II rims will they fit?

Will 15" mickey thompson II rims fit on the new jk ? they will have 33x12.50 tires on them

there are threads of people useing 15s with the correct back spacing

Default Anyone Running 15" X 8"rims?

Anyone running 15x8 rims on the new jk 4dr? need spacers due to the brakes?

No, they will not fit.

Mickey Thompson does not make a 15" wheel for a JK, only a 16x8, 17x9, and 18x9. Your lug pattern is 5 on 5.

they are mickey thompson II with 3 5/16 backspacing, i will have to use spydertrax 5-4.5 wheel adapters.

Yeah, of course you can use wheel adapters. Some people do not like to use them. I've ran them before, not on the JK, on a TJ. They work fine, just make sure you check the torque on the lugs about every 500 miles or so. Just to be on the safe side, nobody likes to have a wheel pass them on the freeway:-) Good luck man, post some pics when you get them installed.

If you use a wheel adapter to mount a wheel that already has a 3 5/16 backspacing, you are going to end up with a wheel/tire that sticks way too far.

i agree. also some are having leverage issues with front bearing housings bending. the jk fender wells are so big i think you get a morew proportionate look with larger rims anyway.
