Dont use the spacers at all get a grinding disc and grind it down a little, I was apprehensive at first so I bought soacers and they absolutly were dangerous as f@#k. took longer to unbot the tire than it did to do the grinding, trust me it is worth the piece of mind when you are doing 100kms down the highway and you dont have to worry about breaking a wheel stud or the lugs comeing loose.

I'd have to go the gringing route myself. No way I'm using a crappy 1/8 inch spacer. Just more things to go wrong with the spacers.

Grind them. I'm the one that started this post way back. I bought a cheap grinder from HD and went to town. They work great...

Probably covered in other posts, but other than tire cost, what are the advantages of 15s over the 17s I would have on the Rubicon?

Not to sound dumb, but I take you you just grind till the brake caliper till it is flush with the base of the lugs/drum?

After all this is where the wheel sets.

Should I spray brake cleaner on the brakes after I grind the calipers in case any fragments from grind get on them. Probably falls right off anyway right?
