12.5" Wide Detachable Mud Flaps...
I am looking for a 12.5' wide detachable mud flap for my JK-U.
Local laws require coverage of the tires, and the 35's I have are 12.5" wide.
I see a few different brands out there, but they are always narrow, and that doesn't help.
Can anyone recommend a removable mud flap/bracket etc, that would give proper coverage?
PoPo here will write tickets, no warning for things like this, so I want to address it. (and have them detachable for wheeling)
Am I the first one to put larger tires on a JK?

props to teraflex for making this kit. I know its the law and im sure there is some kind of reason behind it but it just looks so bad to see a nicely lifted jeep with some mudflaps...

What state are u in. I'm in Arizona and the law says that on "trucks" u have to have mud flaps that cover the tires that stick out past the fenders. If u look at your registration a jeep wrangler is classified as a station wagon and since the law can't hold u to the same law as "trucks". A nice little loop hole.

I don't care for the stripes down the center, anything that matches the texture and color of the fender flares?
12.5" tire

They would LOOK better if they were wider too.
It looks like someone who wears a shirt two sizes too small.

You could make it work. Talk to TF about a price for just the hardware no flaps. You could extend the bar by bolting on a longer bracket to cover the outer edge. Then purchase some bigger mud-flaps from NAPA or Canadian Tire in the style you want.
