Default 10 inch wheel- distance past flares?

I currenty have some 16 x 10 wheels on order, but i put the order on hold tonite after seeing some local jeeps with 10 inch rims. The wheels i have on order have 4.5 inch backspacing, and I plan to put them on 35 x 12.5 x 16 tires. Anyone think these gonna stick out way too far, I really only wanted like 2 inches sticking out, but i like the way 10 inch rims fill out the tires. We have no rocks in this area, so im not worried about protecing wheels either. I really need 17 x 9s i guess instead of 8s, but cannot find right wheel available. I just do not want my tires sticking out 4 inches very bad on those 10s.

Looking for some thoughts and measurements past flares on 10 inch rims

Sorry for the rambling and I appreciate the help. thanks

Bonedigger, the tires I plan to run are toyo 315/75/16s on 16 x 10 with 4.5 bs wheels. So you think on a 12.5 wide inch tire, i maybe able to keep around 2 inches from flare?

I think you will be right around 1" to 2", my tires are 13.50(325) and my rims have 1/2" more back spacing than what you are planning on with 4.5" backspacing your tires will be "sucked" more into your wheel well

Sweet jeep and thanks for the pics Bonedigger. Good to see they did not stick out to far, looks like they are just enough. Finally decided on 35x13.5 and will be ordering my 15x10s first thing in the am.

Thanks, the older jeep i saw tonite, stuck out at least 4 inches from the flare, and that kind of made me nervous. This doesnt sound so bad from your experience though.
