I run the same BS with a 1.5" spacer. I don't feel it is too wide at all.

Look up all the jacked up Florida, Hawaii etc trucks with tires sticking out 6" past the fenders. Looks are a preference of course and it's just plain ugly and a fade in various States. In most places it's illegal though, so you'd have to figure that out as well. With 4.5" BS & stock fenders that combo will stick out 2" from the fenders. We ran the same combo & it looked just fine like that.

Just for reference: 18x9 KMC Misfits with 5" backspace and 1.5" Spidertrax Wheel Spacers. It looked sick but was constantly throwing rocks at the sides of the Jeep. Also illegal here in PA.

If it's illegal, then there's no problem-but

The amount tire that sticks outside the fender isn't what throws crap into the jeep body--

It's the inside (1") of the tread that throws crap up under the fender bottom and you need mudflaps to stop that-

I call mine "Flow Interrupters" and they eliminate "rooster Tails" on the jeeps side, you can't even see them, but

You need sliders, but they eliminate the crap-

I am sure some states will have laws against how far the tire sticks out.

1.5 wheel spacers on 4.5 backspacing steel 15\" wheels. Am thinking aboit removing them to get skinnier if i could do so without scrubbing seeing as i have no lift
