Default **body Lift... Pros Cons**

I am currently running 33's with the Full Traction BB.

I would like to run 34's comfortbaly in the future, but I didn't want to invest in a bigger suspension lift; therefore, I am looking into the possibility of putting on a 1" body lift.

-What are the cons with running a BL?
-Specifically are there any negative considerations in running a BL with a BB?
-Will the addition of the BL adversely affect the ESP?
-What manufacturer do you recommend for a BL?

you don't need a BL to run 34's with a BB

Actually the tires are 34.5... almost 35's. I figure that I would be continuously rubbing while wheeling. Is this not the case?

<The preferred body lift is the aluminum ones. M.O.R.E. is by the far the most popular one being used. I've read that the polymere/plastic body lifts crack over time.

I talked to a guy at a 4 wheel store and he said if you wheel your rig hard and you raise a wheel off the ground and it slams on the ground it can crush the body mount.>

You may have galvanic corrosion problems down the road using aluminum mounts like the M.O.R.E. due to dissimilar metals.

If you run the pricier Daystar kit you should eliminate that and the crushed mount issue, which I'm not buying anyway. Same surface area either way...

do you have a 6 speed or auto?
if 6 speed, did you have to trim?

There are no problems using the BL with a BB...makes no difference if you use them together or separately.

The BL has no affect on the ESP. The BB could have caused a problem if your steering wheel was offcenter.

Definitely more surface area on the Daystar... no question about it. Is it necessary? I doubt it.
