37's on a budget is an interesting challenge... I think to save money you will need to keep your OEM wheels and run spacers. Falken 37x12.5x17's can be had for under $350 each. They are pretty heavy so I wouldn't run a spare on your stock carrier... so to start you can buy 4 and go carrier delete to save some money (or keep a 5th in your garage just in case you need it).

So you can probably get the 4x 37's mounted on on your stockers for $1500-1600... Still need to spend $200 on wheel spacers to have a chance of that working.

Since you are now saying you only have $3k not 4k that leaves $1200-1300 for lift.

To stuff 37's I think it can be done with a 2.5 inch lift, flat or cut flares, and some other trimming of your front bumper and airdam. That seems doable for $1200.

A lot of people would tell you running 37"s without beefing the axles and re-gearing is problematic.
37's alone will set you back over 2k for a set of 5 m&b
A decent 3.5" lift is, easily, $2200+ installed

You might want to do a bit of homework and figure out a build process before committing to anything.

Put some 37" tires on your stock wheels, wheel spacers, 2.5" Rock Krawler Max Travel, trim fender flares, trim bumper, trim air dam...that will keep you around 3k

Ok. So should I be more realistic and go with 35's. I still need a functioning Rubicon. I go riding as often as I can.

35s might work better for the budget. All the extras (ie gears, sleeve/gusset, tire carrier, etc) that you need to worry about with 37s really adds up quick. So you definitely need to factor that in.

35's would be much more realistic IMHO... Budget Boost, nice Mud Terrain 35's, wheel spacers... you have a better chance of running a 35 on the stock carrier than a 37 though some people don't recommend it. I would throw in the AEV procal to reset your air pressure setting and speedo and thats a really good start.

For the lift you can go cheap with just a budget boost using your stock coils and shocks or you can get a kit that replaces the coils but uses extensions for the shocks, or a kit that has shocks but pucks for your stock shocks... getting 5x 35's, spacers, procal, and a kit that has both shocks and coils for under $3000 is going to be tough so you might want to start with just coils and upgrade the shocks later.
