Default $4,000 axle swap? Too good to be true?

Curious y’all opinion, got a quote from a guy who owns a small Jeep shop through Facebook about an axle swap for $4,000. This is cost and labor for a ultimate Dana 44 complete crate axle with E locker and 4.88 gears. Is this ridiculously low? Everything else I’ve heard is about 2k more. The shops called leopard jeepz if any of y’all from San Antonio Texas have heard of them. That price tag is insanely close to cost of the axle so that’s why I’m wondering if it sounds too good to be true? Complete axle from spicer cost around 3,800$.

Some guys run on smaller profit margins so that could be right. He also will make a good name for himself with deals like that.

Good point, just caught me by surprise, then again since it’s a crate axle you just bolt it up. Gears would be set by manufacturer, don’t think anything needs to be done there minus swap fluid at 500 miles?
